lol, he was not panicked at all. We have enough jobs that the crews are all on overtime, and I've helped secure about 6-7 mil in upcoming contracts (estimate) so he's not sweating it. Also one of our competitors is closer and won't have as much travel time figured into his price to chances are we wouldn't have gotten it.

Another big help is that I didn't screw up the 2 million dollar bid yesterday, as the low bidder did get my price.

What type of company do you work for?

We are in the same boat, lots of crews working 6 10s or even 7 10s. The work is good right now.

Oh...the other side of a Manual Rubicon with the 4.10 gear ratio is...you can crawl along in first gear at 3 mph. LOL Comes in handy when you are creeping up to a light waiting for it to turn.

Oh yeah, I remember in my Dakota with the 3.92 axle, 1st gear was 10 Mph with a screaming motor, so I bet its even more with yours.

I'm looking forward to driving Ofsteve home from Idaho but I think it's going to be hot as balls out in Utah and Nevada.

This will sound awful. I have seen enough off roading vids to know how to pick a line, to know how to bump an obstacle, I have just never practiced any of those observations. I think I did fine with a few wheel scratches and no body damage

I'd have to figure out bumping with a clutch...

Trail rides for me for the time being.

Actually, 15 mph in first is only about 3k-3.5k rpms...I think. I will try to pay attention to it next time in it.

OMG, met another Vermontah here in the JLWF. He even lives right here in Colchester and not far from me. Has a JLUS and we actually met back in March when we were both at the dealership. What a small world. He has some parts coming in to install next week and plans to stop by if he gets a chance.
