Your soft top will not leak until it has cracks from years of up-and-down action. What are you protecting it from? Mud on the trail?
If I was going to protect it from mud, I would try Rust-Oleum NeverWet. It is amazing!

I have the black premium soft top. Just wanted to protect it from fading under the sun and waterproof from rain
