Does anyone know if the shock mounts will be the same on the JLU as the JKU?

I want to by some Teraflex Falcon 3.3 shocks to use on my 2016 JKU. I am hoping to be able to transfer them over to a 2018 JLU when I pick one up next year.

Nobody knows for sure, but with the new axles on the Rubicon, it is unlikely they will directly transfer. You would have a better chance I suppose if you are planning on buying a Sport or Sahara.

I saw a video where they mentioned the shocks are much easier to mount because of the redesign of the bolts so I am fairly sure they are different from the JK.

They are definitely different. The front ones are eye too eye. No more stem

Also the rear shocks are mounted outside of the frame now.
