REALLY considering these Black Rhino Sprockets in 17-x9.5 -18, does anyone have em?Anyone have any opinions on that backspacing and width? It'll be going on my 2" lift and 315/70s

Those pics above are the same specs as what you want in terms of tire and wheel.

I've seen some awesome aftermarket wheels and tires on this thread. What I haven't noticed are balance weights hammered on to the outside of the rims. Do I need to tell the tire shop not to put balance weights on the outside rim of my new wheels when they balance them?

Some styles won't even accept weights hammered onto the outer lip, but to be safe I ALWAYS tell them no outside weights.

These are 17” x 8.5” ICON Rebound wheels in matte bronze with a 4.5” backspace and a -6mm offset. The tires are 35” x 11.5 x 17” Nitto Trail Grapplers with a C rated sidewall.

What lugs is everyone going with? Is there a preferred brand or one to stay away from?
I burned a lot of time trying to find the right lugs. I found it hard to find spec's on them and on the lug clearance holes on the wheels I ordered. I did learn that my wheels, being aftermarket, are called "tuner" wheels and probably require lugs of smaller diameter. I was interested in going with Gorilla "System" spline lugs where each lug in the set is essentially a locking lug. I know that the locking spline lugs can be defeated but having to take off 23 lugs has to slow the thief down. Unfortunately, they don't have narrow lugs in sets of 24 and black.

For now I purchased Gorilla Automotive Non-locking spline lugs from Discount Tire.

They look great and so does the Mojito! I have bought the Nitto Ridge Grapplers (35"X12.5"X17") and Fuel Beast wheels to go with my Mojito Rubicon (still on order). What lugs are you using with them and why?

I will have to check on which lugs they ended up using. I figured the original lugs would work but they wouldn’t fit in the smaller opening. I know the dealer scrambled to find a set that would work locally and finally found these black ones at a local Custom Shop.

I went with this Gorilla locking set, which leaves one extra after locking down the spare.

Does anyone have a pic of a 2018 Rubi with stock wheels, 35's and a 2" lift?

I'm not a fan of having my tires stick out any farther than needed for clearance. If 35's fit stock, they should fit fine with a 2" lift. Just wonder if they look odd with the extra 2".

TIA!!
