I'm getting better on hill-starts, but sometimes I "overcompensate"... Traffic for the next couple of miles gives me a wide berth then.

Forgot to mention, my little "Stick Shift" sticker seemed to have a positive effect! Definitely noticed some people giving me a TON of room on hills. I think one guy gave me 15 feet or so!

This was also before chirping the tires. Afterwards, they would just try to pass me ASAP (which I allowed ).

I was trying to clean some out of my closet this morning. Not a single one made it to the donate pile. Even the one with a tag that I’ve never worn. I made the mistake of trying it on & liking it all over again. Oopsies!

Hahaa!! I succeeded at an entire bag going out.
(Partly because I was motivated by fitting the items I bought yesterday into the closet without hubby noticing.... I could have bought some nice parts for what I managed to spend at a coffee house pop up shop... Because she doesn’t exist yet, Gamora has no opinion, but My Girl is looking at me disapprovingly.

It’s not my fault that I have a wedding and a gala to attend in August. I NEEDED another LBD....

In addition to having only 430 square feet of apartment (I still moved here with at least six banker's boxes of books), most of my reading is done when I commute via subway (on hiatus while I'm at my current location). The Kindle is awesome for portability, especially when you like the high fantasy tomes I like!

Agreed.

I don't think they were impatient so much as trying to distance themselves from me. I didn't take it personally - I do the same thing when I spot a weird driver; I get as far away from them as possible .
