For the pipe? Not sure. If asked by an officer, I'd mention that I have it in the vehicle, but it's back under the tailgate with the jack and lug wrench. Not really a hazard.

For carry permits...

I don't even know. Pretty sure there's an elaborate bureaucratic miasma to navigate to get one on the up and up.

I was goina post about it & tag you, Twinsie, but I decided they’re better right from you!

Alas, I had to do actual engineering (yikes!) and was focused on that instead of our page count.

We are installing a giant vault for a valve on a 20" diameter water main (vault is 15' x 10' x 14' give or take) next to the river. No one bothered to check if it'll float or not during high tide.

Personally, I have bigger issues to worry about thank whether or not I can carry a gun. I live in a safe neighborhood, don't start nuthin, and God forbid I get into a situation where I could draw a gun, I used to be on the track team in HS. :cwl:

lol well I grew up watching 80s movies and they all made NYC look like a combat zone.

But, I'd say you've got a good thing going if you're in a safe neighborhood. In Winston, you'll have one block nice and peaceful and the next block is full of Bloods, Crips and MS-13.

Same thing here... it varies by block.
