JLU Sahara all stock. Auto trans and A/T tires. Took a short trip, mostly highway and here’s what I got.

Cruise control set at 77(speed limit 70 in FL) Engine RPM in 8th was about 1900 and when it would downshift to 7th RPMs were about 2400.

20.5 to 21 MPG

Not the fastest car I’ve ever driven(last car was a BMW 535) but overall pretty comfortable on the highway.

Everyone else seeing similar numbers?

Over the last 500 miles the computer is giving me 20.1 mpg. That's mixed highway (mostly highway) and in town. Speeds got up around 80 mph at times but mostly locked in at 70. JLUR, auto, stock tires with stock 4.10 gears, hard top. Some of that time (probably 90 miles) were on 315-70/17 with tuner adjusted speedo. I think that is pretty darn good for a brick on wheels. But, i didn't buy it for it's stellar fuel consumption.

With the 2 door manual rated at 17/25, I'm more than happy with the projected MPG on my Wrangler. I was lucky to get 17mpg combined in the old straight six Wranglers.

I have a sport s and drive a combo of city and highway about 30mi round trip everyday to work. I'm getting 25.2mpg. I also use ethanol free gas. Not only do you get more power with ethanol free, the gas mileage obviously is better. Ethanol free costs $.30 more than regular unleaded, so I may pay an extra $6 while filling up, but I greet an extra 90mi out of the tank. I think it pays for itself and then some!

Hey Mike We have a 2014 2dr Sahara (wife's Jeep) with very similar equipent.
With combined driving, the wife gets around 24 mpg. I do well to get 20 mpg.
We are both very happy with the Sahara and I'm saving every nickle for the
2018 JP Diesel Scrambler.

Are y'all running your AC? I am getting 15 mpg Rubicon with 315/75r17's and regular fuel hard to find no ethanol around here. Hard top, soft top and full naked all 15.. not complaining, but that's a pretty big difference.

A/C was on for the aforementioned trip in the Sahara. Pump gas.

Took a picture when I was driving home last night to show you the numbers. It does sound like a big difference from yours. My tires are stock, so that is a factor. As you can see in the pic, I have a little over 1/2 tank left and it says I have 274 miles to go on the tank. When I fill up the tank it says I have 494 miles to go.

My first 200 miles driving the 2.0T was getting 15MPG. That is mostly city driving and with the A/C on blast. Also, my tires pressure is at 37. That average certainly moves up quickly with a few highway runs, but like I said lately it's been mostly city/traffic, running errands, etc.

Yup same here wish there was a little more spread between 7 and 8. Slightest incline I mean slight and down into 7th it goes.

You running running 315’s what size rims you have. I have the towing package so 4:10 come with that stock rim and tires get 20/23, 65/70 cruising freeway of course moderate to no wind
