Related, I realized that the stock tires are 31" diameter, which helps explain why the door sill is above my knees.

For reference, my WJ has 29" tires. And I could slide under that without a jack!

I don’t think I’ve posted this here yet, but I found Vida’s first wound Monday. Self inflicted. The silly bitch likes to kick rocks at herself. Aftermarket papapapleeeeease catch the fuk upppppp so I can get some side rails!!!!!

Surprisingly, I don’t hate it. Lol! Kinda adds a little extra character. I’ll have dad take a look this weekend & let me know what he needs to fix it cuz rust is cancer! Also ordered the protection film today. If it was something caused by someone else, I think I’d be throwing a shit fit. Since she did it to herself, I’m ok with it & actually glad to have the first one outta the way!

There's a whole thread on that somewhere on these forums. I saw a guy (who's cheap like me) put a couple of pieces of electrical tape on the hinges to prevent the chips. That's my plan until I can get some plastic hinge covers at a reasonable price. You can get them for the JL online for $50, which IMO, is not reasonable.

If it bugs you I would find the closest match in nail polish and keep in the Rig
