Mine was "Hot Tagged". It tells Jeep to SHIP IT NOW !! My dealer took pics of it
just after it got off transporter. You can see the tag drivers side up high on windshield.

Sent a text by mistake to one of my colleagues yesterday with no context. “been topless all day”. Supposed to go to my Jeepin buddy. It’ll be fun explaining that one this morning!

Well to be honest if yours was hot tagged it doesnt mean squat, since it took them a month to deliver it 60 miles?

You don't understand the "Hot Tag". Yes I waited too darn long. It was 1 of first
5 built. It sat there as others were being delivered. I wrote my dealer a nasty
Email that I regret as they are really good. He called his Rep that same day.
It was then "Hot Tagged" and arrived at dealership in 3 days. Why do they have
"Hot Tags" if they don't mean squat. It REALLY worked for me. They are on the
windshield for that purpose.

Worked well for me too. Once it was finally built (which hot tagging doesn't help with) the process of going from built to KZ took 52 minutes, and was exiting the yard on railcar just over a day and a half later.

To those of you who were hot tagged, did you just reach out to your dealer and request to be hot tagged? What was your process?

Jim,

The standard soft top comes with the Jeep if no optional top is selected. I was trying to point that out to you but badly it seems.

Hey guys! Well, today is my keep your fingers crossed for some good news (or any news - lol) day. Sales guy told me last week that my Jeep should be in Winnipeg 20 June. We shall see! I'm staying positive cause I should have it soon! My very first Jeep - I'm getting pretty excited!

im on the Jeep build site now, on a 2 door sport and still do not see this option? its bewildered me for sometime.

The base sport doesn’t have the option for PST. You have to move up to the S to be able to get it. I believe the Rubi has PST standard.

Yes-I believe my dealer spoke to his regional distribution manager to "hot-tag" the vehicle. Keep in mind I ordered 12/7/17 and had been waiting a long time at that point.

G’morning Kathy!
I have no idea if it’s covered. I haven’t checked into it & to be honest hadn’t thought to. I figured I’d fix her up on my own (with the insight & help of my auto body tech dad with decades of experience ) instead of the guys at the dealer shop. I should check, though!!

On Monday I discovered my baby girl’s first boo boo.

To be honest, I don’t hate it. Lol. Adds a little something to her personality & it’s nice to have her first one out of the way already. Haha! I’ll still have it fixed for rust purposes & may also get the door hinge film I’ve seen somewhere on here. I want rails/steps suuuuper bad, but the damn after market is pretty damn slow for unicorn goodies.

R3 has a thread where they’re selling precut PPF for the hinges. I ordered and installed. Good product, worth the $25 and hour of aggravation to install.
