After having my wife's jeep for a few days, we are more than pleased. I'm glad we equiped it as we did. Only thing we might have done differently is getting the LED package.
Some observations
Standard soft top is great. Way less wind noise than expected.
6 Spd works perfect. My wife just got rid of a Jetta for this so we are pleasantly surprised. We expected it to be truck like.
Standard sound system is better than expected.
My wife loves her new Jeep!!

fathers day outing with my girls and the JL, they really enjoyed it as did i. JL performed flawlessly as we put her slowly thru her paces.
Glad you had a great time!
It's nice to see how much fun you can have in stock form. I love to see more vids of stock JLs like this

Hope you get yours soon. I see it's same colour. ( Canadian spelling )
She was very impatient with the sales guy showing us the car. ( " we'll figure out how to use the radio later. Show me how to drop the top! " )

Had ours for a few days now.
Here is a time line from ordering.
  • Ordered Jan 18
  • waiting waiting waiting
  • May 17. POC from dealer showing D1 with ship date of June 2. Things went pretty fast from here.
  • June 4. Dealer reports built and released by factory waiting transport. Got Build Sheet from Crypto
  • June 7. Got Window Sticker from Crypto
  • June 12. Dealer told me Jeep was in. I picked it up that evening
Worth the wait!
Don't forget to throw some pics in the Billet Silver thread. I love this color and can't stop searching for pics...lol

I went with the standard soft top myself--great to hear! I've only driven the manual Rubicon. How tall are the gears in the 6 speed with the Sport's axle ratios? I ordered the 6 speed as well.

I went base Sport, so I'm going from an Accord with heated leather and a touch-screen nav back to manual windows, locks, and climate! haha

Hi 2-door gang!
Has anyone seen or posted pics of a 2-door Sting Gray with matching body-color top and fenders? I ordered a 2-door SG Rubi with body-color fenders and black hardtop, and while stuck in D purgatory I’m second-guessing my black top decision. I’m sure it will look awesome (what 2-door doesn’t?!) but I’d be curious to see a live all-gray if anyone can share pics (even granite or billet might be helpful).
Thanks in advance!

Upgrades.
Ordered those rims myself. Wonder what size tire (width) you could fit on there.... The more I see it the more I like them. I originally planned on keeping the factory setup for my winter wheels and getting a 33.12.5 17 tire and wheel setup for summer.

Does anyone know the ratio of 2-Door vs 4-door Wrangler builds? I saw a website which I cannot find any longer and it was 10:1. 20k’ish 4 doors vs 2k’ish 2 doors. For may or April (I forget). It just seems 2 doors aren’t getting the manufacturing time 4 doors are getting.
