No additional wiring needs to be run UNLESS you get the climate control module. The heated seat controls are not on the main climate control panel. See pic:

Not mine, it's a pic from someone else's. Still waiting on the climate control parts -- they're backordered nationwide so it'll be a week or two. I didn't even order the climate module piece... but I probably need it.
Thanks. In case you can't tell I am anxious to hear. I've ordered all the parts but so far I have only received the screen. I think I remember you saying the climate control app went away. Hoping that it simply comes back after you install the climate control parts. Wondering if I should install before receiving the bezel and climate control.
Honestly, I would wait until you get the radio and the bezel and install them together. The radio with the incorrect bezel looks awful and doesn't fit at all. Climate control pieces are a different story. Once all of the correct climate control pieces are installed, the climate control software buttons on the screen SHOULD come back. If not, resetting the radio should do the trick.
I’ve heard people say that the newer vehicles are learning a lot of things without having to take it in and put it on a computer. Can’t say if it’s true, as it’s second hand info. Although not 100% related, someone told me the TPMS on their after market setup configured itself just fine. Again, no idea if it’s true.
