Ya know. I think its about time for some serious conversations at the federal level to banish the franchise dealer law. No one likes the dealership experience. The middle man process causes additional confusion and overhead. Stellantis could fix the price to a non negotiable price fixed below current MSRP and still make more money. "Dealers" could switch to a viewing gallery and still service the vehicles. Something needs to change.

My cousin has a Tesla and the buying process was SO easy! I don’t care to have a Tesla , but do appreciate their buying process. You add all your options , pay your fee and vehicle is at your door within the timeframe stated on website.

I'm a 2 door willys 2.0L/AT, soft top, conv/tech/safety group, with doors off mirror kit. I'm officially in the 50+ club.

I’m at 42 days C/D with 2.0 ? and Jeep chat is telling me to check back on the 18th to see if the status has moved.

I have been C/D since June.. 6cyl 8SPD AUTO, Anvil Rubicon (not X) 2door.
I have not seen any shipped similar.

generally, they seem to group engines, transmissions, and trim levels for production with runs of 4xe, 392, and 2.0T.

what doesn’t seem to matter is the color, number of doors, and top…

all unofficial observation and gut sense that is only slightly better than incoherent rambling

Yeoh... and when you go back to tell them there is no movement, they will offer to escalate and send you an email from someone "looking into it", who two weeks later will says "sorry no movement".

yeah, I’m not looking forward to that response, fingers crossed that it just moves forward.

Ordered 4/27 and it’s still chugging along. Not the fastest turn around but I didn’t get this Jeep to go fast. These trackers are a lot like Jeeps, not known for reliability but an adventure nonetheless!

Now we are on the lookout for a westbound train.

There's a FB user in AZ who just took delivery on a Rubi X in Sarge Green with SOT. Here's the kicker: It's a V6 auto. This would seem to violate every pattern we've been talking about for months.

EDIT: It was a dealer build and purchased off a lot in Prescott. There's your effective confirmation that customer builds are back of the bus so dealers can get inventory first.

That looks like a 2024 white 392 with hard top right next to yours. Where it be? lol.

Lol yes - white 392 and at one point there was a white 4xe next to both... 392 was a sold order for someone

For all those waiting on their Jeep and frantically checking the Jeep order status page(s). Back in my day we didn't have all these fancy Jeep status websites, we only had one order status page, and we liked it. Here is my tale of woe, ordered a Jeep Wrangler in Jan 2022, the one pictured in my profile, and 200 hundred days later it was delivered, end of story. No updates, my salesman left the dealership, no new salesman was assigned to me, dealership was sold, my name wasn't even registered on the Jeep, so when I called Jeep Who-Cares, they wouldn't give me updates because my name had been removed from the order when the dealership was sold.

Here is the only status update we ever received from the Jeep status page. I only got the date the vehicle was built by calling Jeep Cares and filing a complaint, then and only then did they tell me, your Jeep was built 10 days ago. So I took the Jeep status page and updated the info myself, less than one week before the Jeep was delivered to the dealership. If you look up this Jeep on the order page today, it still shows it as Order Confirmed on Jan 14th 2022, and all other dates as TBD. I'm not dreaming, the Jeep was built, I drive it everyday. So, if after 60 or 100 days without an update and you feel like it is hopeless, it isn't, it will happen. Think of it as God teaching you patience.

Another update. Dealer sent me a message letting me know that my vehicle is due to leave Toledo by truck on 8/15/23, and should arrive in a few days. The dealer will be installing the RV tow wiring harness, and I have a few goodies of my own to install once she gets home, a Rock Jock towing base plate and a few other bits. Baring any unforeseen circumstances the Rubicon will be ready for our September Trip to South Dakota. Considering I already sold the tow dolly on Saturday and won’t be able to tow the Mini Cooper, I hope for my sake the Jeep will be ready, otherwise I’ll never here the end of it from my wife!
