So...the fix is ready...they just need to apply the software update. Doesn't seem to be a reason to stop selling them because of this. Make the dealers flash them before they leave the dealership...or am I missing something?

I would imagine that's true. They'd get the fine for selling one without the fix.

Trust me! I would have. But... I was asked politely to let off. (Hindsight... seeing the kind uniformed gentlemen further ahead on that road that particular day...it was a good choice. I don’t know that I’d look good in handcuffs)

I do know. Scoop up as much of the glass and syrup as humanly possible. Then scrub carefully. For years after to get the sticky out. Sorry.

Then get mad at your dog for laying in it and getting his fur stuck to the syrup spot.
