Water streaming into cabin when opening door

I have the same exact issue on my new JLU with 260 miles on it. My 2015 JKU did not have this problem. I hope the engineers are working on a quick fix because this is very annoying.

I totally agree, every time it rains and I open my drivers door I get a stream of continuous water in my lap!

Any updates on a fix yet. We had a downpour today and I was drenched at lunch. Everyone asked what happened, I said “it’s a Jeep thing”. They laughed and I was sad. Damn Jeep!

As mentioned by @TIDALWAVE above, that appears to be the TruckMaster Designs drip rail extension for the JK.

I’m disappointed that this obvious design flaw made it through all the testing. I mean they test these out with many different engineers and designers , corporate executives and basic workers in many different climates people get preproduction test models all the time to drive them home it rains how did nobody notice this ? Seems very odd and somewhat scary.
