Sold it off about twenty years ago. Shouldn’t have, but at the time something else seemed more important. It was a 45 CJ2A with seats in it out of a ford maverick or something like that.
Thanks Bill for that photo. Funny how looking back at our old car Picts stirs that nostalgic feeling and makes us forget what a pain those early rides were at times. Ha! Anybody else got a “first love” ride photo to share?

Have you guys had any issues with different shades of grey on your jeeps?

Haven’t seen that happen before! That would bug me. There’s a fifty shades of gray joke in there somewhere though!:giggle:
This is the first sting gray I’ve seen in person. I was super excited to see one, then I noticed the shade difference. It’s definitely there though. I looked from different lighting angles.

Not a common problem that I’m aware of, at least mine doesn’t have it, and your pictures are the first time I’ve heard of it. Just a fluke that got past inspection somehow.

@jstew182 Any fitment issues with your AEV's? I have a set of Pintlers (same offset and backspacing as your Savegre) I just pulled off my JK and want to put them on my incoming JL. Also curious if the backup camera fits without modification.

Look back through the last dozen+ pages of this thread with pictures and you'll notice that it's very common.

Ahh now I can’t unsee that. Went back a few pages and it looks like a very common thing. Perhaps that darker panel is a different material and doesn’t take the color the same way?

That’s annoying.

In some of the pictures though, it’s just the lighting. It looks darker in a picture or two I’ve taken of mine, but it isn’t that way looking at it in real life.
