I read 71 pounds but yes.. they are heavy.. I love how they look but they are heavy.. next set I think I'm gonna go with something lighter. I just have to find something that satisfies the same aggressive look..

I've posted the before, but here is an update and comparison of 35's versus 37's.

First pic is 315/70/17 Falken Wildpeak AT3/W and 2" Synergy Stage 1.

Second is 37/12.5/17 Maxxis RAZR AT with 2" Synergy Stage 1.

Haven't flexed it out much yet, but rear rubs the inner liner already when it's weighed down in the rear. I am going to do a fender chop front and rear in the next month or 2 and hopefully can remove a bump stop even. Help keep low CoG and still have good flex.

How are you liking the AEV now that you have had it for some time?
I love it. I live in NY, so I only get to go off road a few times a year. On road is better than stock and off road has been just awesome. If I had it to do over again, I would choose the same lift.

by not awesome, it simply felt like a ton rubber and weight as i approached 55-65mph, around town the new 8 speed and 3.6 accelerated quite well... i wasn't familiar with the specs on the BF Goodrich Krawler tires that were on that Jeep so i looked it up last night and found out they weigh 83.6 lbs according to tiresize.com... that is a TON of rotating mass... this set up might work a lot better with a light weight tire like the KO2 or Mastercraft Courser MXT... the MXT only weighs in a 37" only weigh 69lbs... Hope to drive one sooner than later or hear someones else experience. Hope this helps...

cool to see someone else state how impractical highway driving is with 37's

Wranglers are impractical highway vehicles, but that’s not why most of us bought them I hope.
