I was hoping to enjoy a bottle of wine this weekend, cuz that’s how long it takes me to get through a bottle. Thennnnn the sleepovers happened. Maybe I’ll pop that cork this afternoon after court.

Took two of our married friends for a topless Jeep ride this evening. Conversations went something like, “you are the man! This Jeep is awesome!”
Then amongst themselves,

“you want one of these, don’t you?”

“Yes!”

“Well I do too”

“I thought you wanted a Mini Cooper?”

“I’ve changed my mind.”

“Well I guess we could both get one.”

“What’s colors would we get?”

“Red, no question about it”

“Well, I want yellow”

“I still can’t believe you don’t want a Mini Cooper now, I mean you have one on your background screen”

“I’m changing it”


I’m still laughing, it was a great evening and our friends are well impressed with our Jeep!

Same here! They love it, I love it, their parents & sibling love it...it’s a win all around! We stopped at my parents’ yesterday & apparently the munchkin told my dad maybe I’d take her to buy clothes & stuff to keep here so she can just pop on over anytime she wants without having to pack. Fine by me!!

When I take my dollies to Washington, DC in November for our Christmas trip, I’ll have to swap cars with my sister & take her mom-mobile. No way will 3 of us & all of our stuff fit in Vida! Munchkin said yesterday I might have a hard time getting the Jeep back from my sister. Lol

That's why I got the four door this time around. Ever try to get a car seat in the back of a two door NOT fun so much easier in my four door. Plus it should tow our camper better. First outing in June

Good Morning Jeepless and Jeeples...Happy Sunday to everyone and Thank You to all our Veterans. Twice in the last few days, we have visited the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery and Park. Jefferson Barracks Cemetery is about 300 acres and located adjacent to the Mississippi River.

It is a sobering thought to see all of these gravestones and know that they all gave their lives to protect what we hold dear. Again...Thank you for your Service...in whatever capacity you served.

I spent much time debating between two or four doors. Right now we only do one such trip a year. I couldn’t justify not going with my classical favorite two door for one long weekend, or even three or four if we added more! No car seats in my future. This was an all about me vehicle.
