First time I heard the phrase "suck it up, Buttercup" was from a roadrage incident between a couple of yahoos with canadian license platws at a costco gas pump. The guy that threw this phrase out as a signoff to to the shouting match might have been twice the size of the other guy that had taken great offense at the lack of gas pump etiquette. Every time we see a Canadian plate now someone im our family throws out the catch phrase, and we all laugh .... 'cuz we realize we survived as bystanders! *No "sorry" was ever exchanged in this incident, btw. :cwl:
