Beautiful tone and texture in her voice on this, no doubt! Isn't music funny - how personal it is? I totally understand about yelling and screaming and simplistic/inane lyric, but if there is melody, emotion, and tonal quality to the vocal I might be in. Disturbed, Linkin Park, and quite a bit of 80's metal does this for me. We've raised a couple 80's/90's progressive metal heads in our kids without really trying - Dream Theater, Pink Floyd, Rush, Evanescence, the afore-mentioned Disturbed, Seattle's own Queensryche. I love it!
