Took delivery last week of a JL Sport S. Took it on a long trip to North Carolina and the CEL came on. I had it checked out by a dealer in NC and was told it was a Cylinder 1 misfire stored code. The service department there told me it was okay to drive it back home to TN and check it out with my local dealer.
Scheduled an appointment and just got feedback on the work being done. They replaced the coil pack and spark plugs but the CEL still remains. The tech is working with Chrysler directly for the next steps. They are really not sure if it may be electrical or mechanical. Any suggestions as to what other potential items may be the cause. Overall less than 1,000 miles in and this is the first jeep I've owned.....what a disappointment.
