I have a jobsite in Coldwater, can I swing by next week and pick up a set?
We could do that. We'd have to process the order in the morning (phone call with payment), and then we could pick them in the warehouse and have them waiting for you at the front desk.

Front is 26.67" x 17.76", rear is 28.6" x 18.71"
Interesting. I’m currently running the FOX 2.0 IFP shocks for a 3.5”-4” lift. Both shocks have almost the same collapsed length (within +.2 of an inch) but the 2.0’s are 1.9 inch longer for the front and 1.74 inch longer for the rears. I wouldn’t have thought the collapsed length would be that close.

FOX has released a newly tuned 2.5" Performance Series shock specifically for the Jeep JL.

Only $999.95/set MSRP, does not include Forum Discount (PM me for discount)
Will you have a lift kit + the new 2.5" shocks in a bundle available on your website? I'm looking for the minimum lift that will allow me to fit 37" tires on a two door rubicon.

I am also confused about the total travel (stroke) of these new shocks vs. other Fox offerings:

FOX 2.5 performance elite DSC (4.5”-6” lift)
Front FOX-883-26-052, 18.34”-30.51”, 12.17” stroke
Rear FOX-883-26-056, 19.43”-32.3”, 12.87” stroke

FOX PERFORMANCE SERIES 2.0 IFP (3.5”-4”)
Front FOX-985-24-179, 17.85”-28.45”, 10.6” stroke
Rear FOX-985-24-180, 18.95”-30.55”, 11.6” stroke

And the new one
Fox 2.5” performance tuned for JL
Front 17.76”-26.67”, 8.91 stroke
Rear 18.71”-28.6”, 9.89 stroke

The new 2.5” performance shocks posted by JKS seem limited by the small stroke even if they are the larger 2.5” bore vs. 2.0 IFP. Is there a reason the stroke is longer for the 2.0 and longer still for the 2.5” performance elite?

Is it better to pair these shocks with factory coils or JKS coils?

Yes, some kits already have them. Look for the FOX 2.5 IFP shock in the shock selection.

Because you're comparing a shock designed for 2.5-3.5" of lift to shocks designed for 4"+ of lift.

They compliment the JKS coils very well, but can be used with Mopar 2.5" lift coils.

FOX has released a newly tuned 2.5" Performance Series shock specifically for the Jeep JL. These new Performance Series shocks feature consistent and fade-resistant performance due to high-quality materials: 2.5-inch aluminum bodies and race-developed main piston with a true internal floating piston (IFP) to separate gas and oil.

The larger diameter valve assembly improves comfort through a wider dynamic range. This allows for a supple feel as velocity increases when transitioning from crawling to fast trail driving:
  • Tuned specifically for optimum ride and performance on larger plus-size wheel and tire packages.
  • The same high-quality aluminum bodies and internal floating piston architecture used in our Performance Series 2.0 shocks.
  • New 2.5-inch diameter shocks have more surface area and increase oil capacity of the shock, allowing for more heat dissipation.
  • Larger diameter valve shims translate to smoother feel: think firmness without harshness, allowing for a softer tune.
  • 50% more piston surface area provides less damping fade and more bottom-out control at higher speeds.
Built-to-last, torture-tested, and race-proven to give a lifetime of great rides.

*Designed for 2-3.5" lift heights.

Only $999.95/set MSRP, does not include Forum Discount (PM me for discount)

Are these not the production shocks from the 392 Wrangler?
