When they wind up purchasing new roofs to replace the OEM it averages up easily.

Then they have to buy mud flaps because the OEM tires are rock magnets. And the list grows.

Lately they have been off-roading with spare tie rods to be safe. Guess that’s a “Ford accessory” in their minds. More power to them.

This ^^^

Bronco owners are having to spend money out of their pockets just to rectify Ford’s half-assed engineering.

Whatever makes them happy...

I'm often occupied, by many things, often at the same time
Ford gave people with reservations an allowance in Ford (points) bucks ($0.005/point), so everyone got an amount to spend. Here is an example of one person's:

200,000 for MOD to MIC roof
11,000 User Appreciation Points
20,000 Early Reservation Holder
42,000 New Vehicle Purchase
1,100 converting before March 19th

$1,370 in points to spend on Ford accessories. Ford gave a captive audience money to spend in the company store, and people spent a few bucks more.

I spent over $3k... and I was trying to be cheap. And I still want a soft top, Rubicon wheels and tires, and I don't like the Sport bumper... although I'm not sure how much I care about that one.

I know a dude who dropped $7,000+to get a used hard top for his soft-top equipped model.
