What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Just power, we want to keep everything separate. We still listen to FM/XM and want a second navigation system as Google isn't always correct in Northeast.

I switch between using Google maps and Waze on Android Auto. Even though they're both "Google" their directions are based off of different algorithms.

If Google is giving incorrect directions or whatever about the road / destination is incorrect just report it under their help system. I've fixed many inaccuracies that way. I'm currently a level 8 local guide.

Just trimmed them with a utility knife following the lines in the plastic. It's all still covered on the back side.

I've seen a number of different folks installing locking hood latches. Is stealing parts from the engine bay a common problem with Jeeps? What do thieves usually take?

These days anything is possible. I just did it for extra security and it was a relatively inexpensive mod. Now that this is my daily driver it gets more exposure to the public than before.

Not a huge visual difference but threw on a set of Gladiator Rubicon take offs.

Ride and noise is much better than the MTs. Now I have to sell those and get them out of the garage.

Installed chinese mopar replica third brake light relocation bracket

will have to take it off next week when my Chinese mopar replica spare reinforcement bracket and chinese mopar replica spare replicator bracket come in.

then again once I get my new wheels and 37’s. I’m a little worried that the black rhino armory wheels in getting won’t be compatible with the third brake light replicator bracket sue to not having any holes for the wire or won’t fit the extended lug nuts.

Added a handheld radio mount for anything I might need when in a group.

Here are the parts. Note that the actual radio mount bracket holes don't match the RAM ball mount holes so drilling two new holes is needed - and I am proud to say I actually checked the measurements before buying so I knew I would need to drill .
I have an extra long GMRS antenna on this radio, was too lazy to swap for the stubby. Works fine though.
