[RANT ON] It has been a Wednesday tradition...at least for the last 12 weeks...that I email my salesman to ask about the status of my JL. Each week...nothing new. So, I forwarded the email I sent back to Jeep Information Center yesterday to the salesman with a little added frustration. I hope they can find something out for me. I really don't want to start this process all over again...and I really don't want to go to a different dealership because the problem isn't the dealership...it is FCA. HA...3 months....12 weeks...84 days...for a freak'n mass assembled vehicle.......... [RANT OFF]

It is that time again...Happy Wednesday??!?!?!

As I mentioned to Mike before, I have a case number with the "ever-helpful" (inject your best sarcasm font here) Jeep Information Center that FCA opened due to botching the release of the JL and to try to pacify upset customers by giving them a specialist to talk to about the delays. So far, they haven't really been that helpful...at least in my case. I seem to be stuck in "D" status...for roughly 84 days...so far. And I can't seem to find out when mine will be built.

Guys...understand two things...

1. I want my 2-door Rubicon...the delays suck but I am dead set on this JL...my JL. Since I have had a lot of time to think about all this...because it is about all I think about day in and day out...there is nothing else out there that appeals to me more than the 2-door JL. While the 4-door JL is basically the same as the 2-door JL, I don't want a 4-door JL...cost and appearances are my issues with it. I have received advice from others that I should re-order (and possibly from a different dealership) but I picked South County because of your proximity to my house and I felt you guys would take care of me after the sale.
2. It has been 3 months since I placed the order for my JL. This is freak'n absurd for a Jeep Wrangler. My god...you would think I ordered a custom one-off hand built Lamborghini or something...not a regularly mass produced vehicle. I just can't believe that Jeep doesn't want my $30k (I figure that is truly how much they will get after the dealership takes their cut) and that you don't want my $41k and a sale enough to make this happen in a shorter time period than 3 freak'n months. In case I haven't said it before...this is FREAK'N ABSURD!!! 12 weeks without a status change is unreal...I have no inside line to FCA or Jeep and it is obvious from the below email that the Jeep Information Center isn't helping either...so...I am turning to you to find me some information about my JL.

I know that 2-doors are being built...and delivered...and their owners are tickled to death with them. I am past ready to be tickled with mine. In fact, I have even heard that dealerships are getting "Lot Orders" on 2-doors before "Sold Orders" are built. Yes, it is a marketing thing...put them in front of the customer and they will buy them...but my JL is as good as sold already. Build the damn thing and deliver it already.

Hopefully you can get me some new information on my JL.
