35's for looks.. I love the 2.o Jlur. I dont hear sh*t since I have the soft top down or music playing so engine noise doesnt matter. Envy the 392, yes on some occasions. But a stock flying brick is still lots of fun @ 80 mph since you feel like you're on rolling thunder amusement ride

So, I wanted to start a non-political thread on Jeep politics. Topics where there are limited to no middle ground where both sides are firmly encamped. I'll start. I think it goes without saying "no politician politics", please.

Angry vs Happy Jeep

I'm totally in the camp of "Happy Jeep", I don't know how someone could take an iconic look like the JL Wrangler and stick angry bird eyebrows over it. I don't wave at Angry Jeeps, I teach my kids that the only Jeeps are happy Jeeps. If I ducked, I would refuse to duck an Angry Jeep no matter how awesome it was just because it is an Angry Jeep. :)
How about starting a nonpolitical political party called Jeeps cost too damn much party? LOL

Kinda joking, but kinda not...
  • It's perfectly ok to own a cell phone even though you barely, if ever, actually make calls on it
  • It's perfectly ok to play a song on a piano without using all 88 keys in every song
  • It's perfectly ok to own a Rubicon as a daily driver and not take it onto extreme trails to bash it up against rocks
One of these statements is controversial. I don't get why.

It's hard for me to think of anything more contentious than the 3.6 vs 2.0 issue. It's strange to me that that issue stands higher on the list of importance than the mall crawler issue. I would have guessed that a Rubicon on 38's with trail armor and a high-lift that never sees dirt would be far more offensive here than questions about the obvious superiority of the 2.0l...but the 2.0l issue will draw a bigger crowd every time.

Mad Max lives in your neighborhood?🤣

There’s a mullet Jeep in the area that has one of those grumper grills along with a bunch of other similar themed add-ons...

I don't know. I'm probably in the minority here, but I think Mary Anne was a little too straight laced. I get the feeling Ginger could get freaky with a little encouragement 😛
