Maybe they are shooting for the Star Trek: TNG fan demographic!Earl = gray? WTF? (What percentage of the Jeep-buying population immediately thinks of Earl Grey tea?)
The Barry White color sounds great! But it would soon run out of storage space from all the ladies throwing their panties at it…By your standards, Sarge is out.
And I would totally buy a Barry White Jeep, but only if it came with a badass exhaust.
Also, I expect the overlap between Reign buyers and people who like Prince to be 100%, so not your problem.
I'll admit I'm different but, for me "sarge" isnt a huge leap to green.By your standards, Sarge is out.

I like green Jeeps, but in general Jeep gravitates towards greens that are too dark.I'll admit I'm different but, for me "sarge" isnt a huge leap to green.
I'll wager that not many people would equate "reign", or even "rain", with purple.
Purple historically has been the color of kings /emperors/royalty....hence Reign, not RainI don‘t see the value in creating names for colors that tell you nothing about the color. I understand calling a tan “sand”, or a gray“slate” — or even “candy apple red”... but,
Reign = Purple? (Reference to Prince? Really? Barf.)
Earl immediately made me think of grey, and Reign was immediately obvious as a purple, either by the royal colours, or Prince.I don‘t see the value in creating names for colors that tell you nothing about the color. Shall we call plain old white “Barry””, or maybe “Shovel”?
…. I think Jeep’s artistic marketing wing is on a permanent acid trip. What I don‘t understand is who this stuff appeals to or why corporate management tolerates it.
Interesting new "Standard" wheel. I still like the "Optional" wheel better (which used to be Standard). Glad to see the ugly wheel option gone!Purple fans, rejoice!
Earl grey(gray? Blue? Green?) Fans rejoice!
