Hey team - need more Jeep porn or curious about a stock Rubicon on the iconic Top of the World? This was last week; enjoy! (audio recommended) My Rube is stock except for 3 after-market skid plates. In a 4-door, those skids were essential on this trail. Without them, I definitely would have needed 35s and a lift. @Murphydog - I know you were curious. For me, Poison Spider (which I drove the next day, see video link in my sig) was a much more fun, interesting trail. But as for TOW, that view. Damn, that view....

Oh that makes sense, @ColoradoMike, like in Canada. You meant top of the world like the top of a globe. I get it. Thanks.

Nice video and thanks for sharing. On the obstacle shots; the video is out of focus away from the subject...was that intended?

Thanks, and, no. It's tough when you're solo and you're just propping your old iphone up on rocks. ;) Some of my movies come out better than others--especially when I am not solo. But I still like this one.

Hahaha, I think there is some humor here that I'm not quite getting. Sometimes subtlety and cleverness are lost on me. Anyway, the trail called Top of the World is a pretty sweet spot, albeit not Everest....

I assume that ledge you fought with is typical of the obstacles on this trail?
It does look like the limits for a stock Rubicon…but the view from the top was truly remarkable

There were about 4 ledges like that one. And I am sure a more skilled driver could do better. I figured it out eventually. From a 4WD perspective, it's honestly not that interesting of a trail. Not a lot of variety of interesting obstacles. Just a series of straight, tall ledges... and then that amazing view. Glad I did it. But I am way more likely to go do Poison Spider again.

Found these guys on you tube.

I am like their video’s so far.
Yeah. A) Wipeout Hill looks really fun, and I imagine is terrifying in person. and B) Those guys put a ton of effort into these videos, and that's awesome. I would do that if I felt like I could make a good living at it... but since I don't think that's realistic and it really would be just a hobby, instead of spending weeks producing a video, I'd rather be kayaking, climbing, or.... driving more trails!

Apologies Mike, didn’t mean to suggest this as something you should do! I am super thankful for what you have posted/shared as it gives good real world insight.
