Just ask @cosine he knows!
Got the LCAs in today and it definitely isn't as squirlly on the backroads. Do these readings look normal/ok? How big a deal is .4 difference from one side to the other? Should I take it back in?

Wouldn't worry about that at all, there's going to be variance. Glad you're happy w/ the drive, it's a great bang for the buck!

🤬 those are on there good. I could not for the life of me do this on the ground with no leverage. I’m going to get an impact wrench that I’ve been meaning to get anyway.

With an impact wrench, it looks like I can reach 2 of the 4 nuts. Using it on the bolt side of the other 2 going to be a problem? I know I’ll need more torque on a bolt compared to a nut.

I needed a 13/16 swivel head socket to get at my front passenger side bolt. Could not access the nut on that one because of the FAD. YMMV. My impact wrench supposedly delivers 1200 ft/lbs of breakaway torque. I didn't need it on the passenger side rear bolt, but I used it on the other 3.
I tried to loosen the bolt on the front passenger side with a 3ft cheater pipe on top of a 2ft breaker bar and could not get that one loose. Good luck with the swap, I am happy I did mine.

Thanks to @blnewt for the write up on LCA swap. I used ramps and was able to swap out my LCAs without much of a problem. Bolt holes lined up perfect. I Only had trouble torquing 1 bolt.
alignment numbers after are good.

Got mine swapped today and the short drive I took was already much nicer. We'll see how it is on the highway tomorrow on my way to work.

I just did this mod with the longer Mopar LCAs on my 2023 JLUR with the XR package. I cannot recommend enough that having a right angle impact is a must have to easily performing this in your garage.

I went with a M12 Milwaukee Fuel right angle impact. Took about 30 mins total.

Drives SO much better, so good in fact I can cruise the Highway doing about 75-80 with no steering inputs and it’ll track straight. No other steering mods.

I had hoped the 2023 JLUR would have come with the Longer Control Arms.

You'd think this would have happened years ago :( At least it's a simple & cheap fix if you DIY.

And a good excuse for buying one of those handy Milwaukee impact wrenches! My favorite DIY tool for the Jeep! I swear, these should come with it, with all the work you do after buying a Jeep.

Having trouble getting the bolt through the arm. How did you all go about this. I have pushed on the Jeep and still can’t get it to line up
