Welcome to the Forum, from Cave Creek AZ.New member and first time Jeep owner here! I'm picking up a '21 JLURD this Saturday and I'm excited to begin this new journey.
I've worked on a number of different platforms, including a modified Subaru WRX-STI, cammed Ram 1500, and most recently a 700whp BMW M4. Suffice say I love new projects, and the mod bug already has me itching.
I haven't even picked up the Jeep and I already have a Tazer-Mini on the way, Hothead Headliners shipped, and LOD Destroyer Rock Sliders incoming. I'm also planning to do a dash-panel swap with the black leather/red-stitching version in order to match the seats.
Looking forward to learning all that I can about the JL and being a part of the Jeep community!
Welcome to the Forum, from Cave Creek AZ.Hello from MO!
I'm a member on a few forums around the interwebs (most of my "builds" are linked in my sig) and now have a reason to join this one! After a solid 20 years of driving older/fixable/long lasting vehicles (mostly by choice), it was time to update the Mrs' baby hauler/daily driver. After looking at the what was available within a 300 mile radius and what we could order, a few of our checkboxes remained unchecked, except for this 2019 JLUR at a somewhat local dealership. While it's still not a "new" car, it's the newest and least amount of miles either of us has ever driven. So, yesterday we brought it home to likely live out the rest of it's operable days under our care. Without further ado, here is our new rig.
2019 JL Unlimited Rubicon auto with 25k on the ticker. Bright white with color matched top and fenders. Heritage Tan Leather and gray dash (big sticking points from the driver). Alpine stereo, LED package, towing package, hinge kit, and other add-ons I'm forgetting. Very clean with only a few scratches on the RR fender. It had steps on it at the dealer, but they were starting to rust, so they took them off. I'm still working on how I want to replace them. Hoping this one lasts as long as my TJR.
Welcome to the Forum, from Cave Creek AZ.Hi,

Please remember, all good things come in time.. Will you need to re-gear, has a lot to do with where you drive logistically. I suggest that you try it with the current gearing, and see if you are happy with the performance. If not, then re-gear.Hi there Jeepers! I left Wrangler world almost a year ago to try to save up some money and pay off some bills. Well, I miss my Wrangler. I couldn't find the one I wanted with the options I was looking for so I ordered a 22 High velocity Unlimited sport s! So much for saving some money. I'm so excited for this Jeep. I never ordered one before. Even though it's only a sport s, I'm hoping to get a few inexpensive mod suggestions from you all. This is my daily driver, whenever it gets built. I'm looking at some take off wheels and tires. My build date is 5/31. Also got a tow package so I can tow a small TT for short camping trips. First question of the join is......if I go up to 33s from stock tires, do I need to regear? I got the stock 3.45. Thanks so much!!!!
Welcome to the Forum, from Cave Creek AZ.New member here! Ordered on 4/5/2022 a Gobi 392 that is being sent straight to AEV for their JL370 package. So excited!
