What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

I can finally participate in this thread! LOL

I installed: Weathertech mudflaps, Oracle Heated Oculus headlights, Morimoto gen 2 turn signals and the Oracle flushmounts for my DIY LED package (LOL).

Dropped it off this morning for swapping all the red accents on the exterior to bronze and getting tint and ceramic coating. Then all the big parts go on

Do you guys prefer these to the Mopar cap, which is keyed to your main key? Also provisioned for the tether..

Didn’t really think too much about it. I will rarely lock mine anyway. I’ll only lock it if I’m leaving the Jeep somewhere unattended which in my case if rare. Like a rare trip where I’m at a hotel of something.

FWIW, there's another brand that allows the soft top to be lowered with the liner in situ. Just an FYI.

I don't, even though I remain interested in the product. I've never been cold in my Jeep, so I'm still on the fence about it. As for traffic noise, etc., I've long since acclimated to it. I don't even notice it much, anymore.

When i was at Hot Springs (wheeling solo), i felt the lack of spotting and visibility, so had a thought to add a camera. Went with ZAutomotive, but for the JT! Figured - might as well mix it up. Initially, i didnt hop on the JT grill-insert bandwagon, but i have to say - i like them! I dont care about the cooling aspect, i think they make the front look more stout than the JL inserts. So, before and afters on each.

I ended up moving the LEDs down a row (due to the cam), but i am happy with that choice. They align better with the other front lights. Pro-tip: dont use blue thread-lock on these. I do it with everything, and it made the adjusting of these a PITA. These are Oracle, replacing out old Quadratec. The Oracle ones are SO much brighter. I know the JT size makes it bigger, but the LED type and housing are different than the Quadratec ones.

I will be adding some install details to our thread, for any questions.

Installed the LOD Destroyer stubby rear bumper, Warn VR Evo 10-S winch, Hella driving lights, and LUX rock lights and then took it to Black Gap trail in Big Ben National Park.

Not to the Jeep, but to some gear in prep for some Jeep hunting & camping.

I bought an ENO Nomad hammock stand, and they only came in a bright blue finish.

That doesn't make sense with ANY of my other gear, so a couple rattle cans and some mesh cloth later...

Does the amber LED not flood out your image being just below the camera like that?

Oh ok. I like the fact that you can keep it on and still open/close the soft top.
