As a Bronco Order holder for over a year, I've learned plenty about patience - I'm working with Gupton now on a Rubicon and hoping to place an order today. Maybe I'll see it this summer (fingers-crossed)

Like you, I WAS a Bronco reservation holder for well over a year I placed my order on a Rubicon at Guptons on February 11. It was delivered March 31 and I pick it up next Saturday. Not saying that yours will be that fast (honestly I was expecting 15 weeks). But whatever the wait, you'll most likely have it long before you would your Bronco! Good luck and congrats. Lol, it was a couple days before my deposit was able to be made, but then order went directly in. Ive been following thew jeep chat and crypto sticker. Ive only reached out to gupton ounce or twice trying not to clog their days with emails etc., figuring more time for them to get them jeeps processed,,,,, lol. Also following this page and trying to keep up with others processes and enjoying when the 'next contestant's ' sharing their pics and experience with the pic ups !!! Pretty great, figure alot better than placing order and being in the dark. Some technology just rocks !!

Has anyone else traded in a vehicle with Gupton? How do their trade-in offers compare with CarMax, Carvana, Vroom, etc.?

I will be driving my trade-in down to TN and I will be looking for the best deal. I’d really hate to have to bring it back with my new ride.

My pick up date will be months away (fingers crossed for July), so it is hard to tell what will happen between now and then. I just don’t want to have too high of expectations.

I am trading-in/selling a 2018 Jeep Compass Sport! It’s been a great vehicle, just ready for an upgrade!

I’d love to hear anyone’s experience and recommendations!

Gupton didn’t seem particularly interested in trades and didn’t want to discuss any trade values until delivery, because the used valuations have been so volatile lately. Certainly understandable, given the manufacturing/delivery delays and huge swings in wholesale values.

There are Carvana and Carmax retail stores in Nashville, so I got a quote from both. Carvana gives you a price site unseen, but the Carmax value can change after a final inspection. I drove my trade to Nashville, with the intention of dropping off with Carvana unless Carmax would give me a higher value after final appraisal. Carmax ended up offering over $2k more than Carvana. Carmax took 30mins, and l left with check in hand and headed to Gupton.

Yep, it is crazy how if you hit the window right, you can cash out. I sold my 21 JLUW to Vroom last November for $4k more than I paid new. I had been watching the values for months with Carvana, Vroom, and Carmax and they were all over the map. One day Vroom came back way high and I locked it out. Vroom took a hit too, finally selling it for less than they paid me.

Assuming you qualify for Tier 1 with CCAP does everyone get the best MF rate or do you have to negotiate with Gupton? Forgot to even ask/clarify that when I placed my order and hate to bother Daniel

Check your email, I emailed him a build sheet this morning and he emailed me an official build sheet to confirm selections and pricing about 30 minutes ago. This will be my 2nd Gupton order, Daniel and Renee are great to work with, just gotta have patience. Which I don’t have much of lol.
