thanks for sharing, I will be putting these skids on as soon as I plan to start wheeling this year (no sense adding weight before necessary)
Post up your CO wheeling trips and I’d love to see you guys on the trails! If your in for overnights I’ll be doing some wheeling camp trips for sure
Absolutely!

Awesome video, and the music was great, have watched video of that trail many times, yours was top notch, thanks.
Right on, and thank you! I put a lot of effort into the soundtrack and production and such. For me, it makes a huge difference. I appreciate hearing this.

We did Fins and things, Hell's, Elephant Hill, Top of the World, and Steel Bender to "the fall" this year in our stock JLURD. Pretty easy trail (Hell's) in all reality, the optional stuff are the difficult areas but even a few of those aren't that bad.

It was my first Hell's Revenge......
Looking over your hood, when going up it is hard to see ahead. Are spotters employed in busy times?

Did you use your lockers at any time?

I have a stock standard 2 door Sport S. Based on the footage I suspect that I could do this inspite of no lockers. What do you think?

Stephen and Chris occasionally spotted for me, yes - though mostly for tire placement in the rock gardens, not so much for dealing with the steep climbs where it feels like all you see is sky. In those scenarios, you manage it more by just going very slowly, so that when the hood does come down and you can see, you have time to correct as needed.
As for lockers, I THINK you could do it all (minus the optional obstacles) with no lockers. But I will say, I had some GoPro malfunctions that led me to not having footage of a lot of the trail. There ARE places on the main trail where you climb straight up steeper walls than anything that appears in my movie, and you might struggle in some of those spots without at least a rear locker.

Hi friends. If you're needing a little JL porn, feel free to enjoy this (audio highly recommended). It was my first Hell's Revenge. It was amazing, brutal, beautiful, epic. Severely tested my new Asfir skid plates.

Curious what PSI did you run?

Just got back from Moab last week and did Hells Revenge in my stock Rubicon (still with 33's). I was so surprised at how capable it was to do everything!! While I bypassed the harder obstacles (mostly because of my confidence...or lack of) it was still a nail biter for me. I did get caught up pretty bad on the rock gardens at the end of the trail and scraped my belly a few times along with my bumper and tow hook, but thankfully everything is still in one piece. Now I'm looking into upgrading tires and getting my lift so I can go back next year and do it all!

Nice! Glad you had fun, and yeah, that section past Tip-over is getting rough. Next time I'll go left and run Staircase to get out, and skip that crap.
