The 2024 Dodge Durango will be a full-size SUV
They were adopting a variety of Ram DT body-on-frame architecture for the next-generation Dodge Durango 2024, including increased towing capabilities, improved haulage capabilities, and more interior space.
the Durango has a towing capacity of 8,700 pounds with a specific configuration, while the Jeep Wagoneer can pull up to 10,000 pounds on particular models.
A new three-row Dodge Durango SRT 392 SUV equipped with a Hemi V-8 engine that delivers 475 horsepower, the Durango. This is also what makes this SUV capable of burnout on smoky four-wheeled.

How are you getting to

FCA to continue V8
As a definitive claim from a source that says:

Currently the biggest mystery is the powertrain, about the latest generation of Ram HD pickups. We believe that might carry over, the existing 5.7-liter V8, 6.4-liter V8,
Seems like there's nothing official one way or the other...

Now that we’ve all had fun with clickbait.
Show me a link from FCA that is discontinuing the V-8. You can’t because it does not exist. They are discontinuing the Hellcat and replacing it with E muscle. The V8 carries on for now

Sorry that is not true on a 392…
Hmm....not sure whats not a TRUE about that on the 392. The one sitting in my garage sure is though.

My stock 22' 392 XR on 37s. Sits level with my 2020 sport with 4" lift and 35's. Sits almost 4 inches higher than any stock Rubicon on the lot. But you MUST be right?!

I believe he was referencing the 392XR is not 1.5” higher than 392 non XR. They are the same.

He would be incorrect.
Not trying to argue here but, it has been confirmed by many (including Wrangler Product Lead) the 392XR and 392 non XR are the same height. The only difference related to suspension was a different valved shocks.

I have responded about this so many times I actually have lost interest. For 1 more time and along with @hoag4147 the 392 and 392XR are lifted the same amount. The 392xr is taller because of the 35” tires….
Incorrect. I parked my 392 next to a non XR 392. Mine sat well over an inch taller. The tires compensate for 1" in height which doesn't factor in to the 1.5" lift with the XR package.

We have enough fake news in the world as it is.

Hopefully someone has the official service manual for both the standard 392 and the 392 XR. I've heard all kinds of things about the XR package, including the addition of the 1.5" lift (I think it's the simple spacer donuts on the springs) on top of the 392's standard suspension. I guess I'll know for sure when I take a look at mine when it comes in.

Must be fake news from Jeep as well. If it is lifted 3” over stock, since a 392 is lifted 1.5” over stock, good luck keeping it on the road, because it has the same control arm lengths as a unlifted Rubicon…. So you would have like 3* of caster at most…. But what do I know?

It may be "real news" from Jeep - but they may be calculating things differently. I *think* the stock 392 run on 32" tires. Increasing that to 35" gives the car approximately 1.5" of additional ground clearance. Add that to the 1.5" lift on the stock chassis gets it pretty close to 3" (until things settle and the tires wear).

EDIT: My bad, the stock 392 comes with LT285/70R17's. Depending on the manufacturer, that could equate to anything from 32" to 33" according to the various tires at TireRack. Jeep says they're 33", so my previous hypothesis doesn't hold up.
