I should have started this thread earlier - now I have to catch up.

Day 1 - Picked it up at the Oxendale Jeep in Cottonwood, AZ.
20180203_104231.jpg 20180203_122348.jpg

Then went straight to Sedona and on to Broken Arrow Trail to test out a few things.
20180203_135345.jpg

Flexed it out a little.

And scratched the bumper!

Day 12 - went to visit our friends at Eibach Springs!
At Eibach 1.jpg

Got a little lift - 2" in front/1" in rear, but still running stock tires & wheels.
Eibach 3.2 a.jpg

More flexing! They call it R&D!
Eibach 3.2 b.jpg

Then some of the parts started rolling in for the next phase.

And then a couple of shots with the "older brother"

Day 45

We decided we needed a little color on this build so we had the beadlock rings powder coated in a dark blue with just a little metal flake. They turned out amazing!
20180429_154930 f.jpg

These are Walker Evans Series 31 Beadlock Wheels in 17"x8.5" with a 4.5" backspacing for the wider Rubicon axle.

We went through some test fitting of different size tire and spring/shock combinations.
Milestar Tires loaned us 3 sets of their new Patagonia M/Ts to try out - 37s, 38s & 40s.
This is the 37-12.50x17 M/Ts
37s.jpg

Then we went to 40s! They look good, but there just isn't enough room to flex without trimming, cutting, hacking, etc.
40s a.jpg 40s d.jpg

So we settled on the 38s and will run these for a while.

I've been driving it for about 2 weeks now with the 38" Pats - it rides great, tire noise is minimal for a M/T and the Jeep looks sweet! I haven't really been wheeling with it yet, so I can't comment on the offroad performance of the tires. More to come...

I really like Broken Arrow. Close by, quick and some nice areas to flex a little. Oh, yes, and the scenery of course...

Looks Good, Love that white, what is the next phase?
I have a few things on order that I'm waiting for. The winch and mount should be here this week, so those will go on next along with some lights.

Looks good. So how's that Eibach coil set up ride? What shocks did you use, I see the Eibach stamp on them? Model numbers if you have them, plz. This set up may be perfect for a lot of people. Also how much actual lift did you get? What's advertised or +/-???

Thank you! Both the springs and shocks are Eibach - designed and manufactured in Corona, CA. The Eibach springs and shocks are engineered to work well together and the ride is great. I'd say just a little stiffer than the stock Rubicon ride. I do not know the model numbers as they are not yet released for production. As for lift height - the front netted 2.6" over stock and 2" in the rear. I expect to be just a bit less when i get the winch and spare tire mounted.

Here is a closer shot for you. Note: This setup does not include extended bump stops at this point - they will be on here soon.
