That's just frozen mud. When it's 15°F outside, muddy water doesn't run off, it accumulates in huge accretion balls. That stuff is just the lingering aftermath. I got the big balls off, but there is still frozen mud all over the thing. Also, I lost the ability to turn left, because I had basketball-sized ice chunks on several suspension components. Driving through muddy water at that temperature is something I consider a lesson learned. Yeah, it was fun, but it's really not a great idea. I could have ripped one of those plastic brake lines, and then I would have been screwed.Tell me that's just brown slush and not rust on your driver-side rock rail.
I'm hoping to avoid rust. I hosed everything in Fluid Film the day before snow was predicted.
