Hi everyone

I’ve noticed my Jeep has been squeaking randomly.

I just noticed these two metal tubes are touching and I am assuming the squeaks are coming from them rubbing together.

Its currently in the shop getting an alignment and balance, not sure they this will help.

Any ideas on how I can fix this issue?

Thanks in advanced

What metal tubes? You’re going to be bombarded with requests for pics & details. Might as well start now.

Mine has a random creak/squeak from the rear as well. Been looking for it off and on for a few months. Never did find it.

Would definitely make some space between the brake line and sway bar. Over time, it could cause the brake line to fail and that would be no bueno...

Yeah hard to tell from the pic, but did you confirm there is actual contact occurring?

The only creaks I've had in the past were solved by making sure all bolts were torqued to proper spec.

thank you for the suggestion, definitely don’t want that happening.

It’s only on one side, I read the axle could be off center?

Yes I can touch it and feel the contact, the other side has about 1/2 inch to 1 inch clearance in between

sorry correction, it’s not making full contact, but very close. And I’m guessing since it creaks sometimes during bumps and ditches maybe it ends up making contact?

I just double checked, I can slide a card in between, but the other side had much more clearance
