If those are the 33s I don't like the look.QUOTE said:I am sorry. Not trying to be a jerk. But can you explain this? If you can see it and determine if you like it, how can you say you don't like it only if it's 33s? If you are set on 35s fine. But that's a weird statement.
I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure the JK and TJs had black hinges for the tailgate. I guess another reason they may look a little off is the taillights come around to the sides of the Jeep now too.Was the JK the only generation to not have painted hinges?
I keep seeing a line in the back of the hard top that would make this plausible. Hope he’s right. That would be awesome.I know we have seen many examples of the dealers being clueless during this transition period, but for what it is worth, the dealer I met with last night told me that the rear side panels on the new hard tops will be separate from the roof as well as the rear window. Making the “6 piece” hardtop we have been hoping for. Take it with a grain of salt tho
It is in the order as a 3 piece hard top, so I think that dealer is mistaken.I know we have seen many examples of the dealers being clueless during this transition period, but for what it is worth, the dealer I met with last night told me that the rear side panels on the new hard tops will be separate from the roof as well as the rear window. I don't like the painted tailgate hinges either. Aren't the black hinges on JK just plastic covers? I'm sure aftermarket will provide covers if Jeep does not.Its got to be the monochrome tailgate hinges.
That would really suck for those of us that purchase a 2018 only to have the new top released in 2019 or 2020.I want that (6 pc), but have no faith. Maybe in a year or 2.
You'll be able to buy it aftermarket, if it is that good. That would really suck for those of us that purchase a 2018 only to have the new top released in 2019 or 2020.
True but I'm already spending $1,000 or more for hardtop option. I don't want to spend another $1,000 to $2,000 for updated hardtop in 1-2 years. You'll be able to buy it aftermarket, if it is that good.
Like the look large fenders and all. Wheels work for me.Now that Jeep has officially revealed the 2018 Wrangler JL, it looks like they're no longer shy about hiding their newest baby!
