First of all, to whomever said that all plastic parts will do this is 100% wrong. When plastic parts are painted, it's not the same paint as the metal parts. "Flex agents" are added to the paint so when the part flexes the paint will not crack, flake off, etc. So it appears as though, they had bad mix of paint for the plastic parts. This is not new, every car has painted plastic parts, skins or otherwise. My 2012 JKU Altitude had matching top and fenders and the paint looked brand new when I traded in. Maybe, the white pigments didn't get along with the added flex agents which is causing this. For the fading to occur that fast, should tell you something.....(bad mix, bad paint, bad something)
