lol, every once in a while you hear of some crazy thing like a tool being left inside the patient after a surgery, so I get where your mind is going.

It’s true that happens, but the surgical staff is supposed to count everything before surgery begins. Then they count a few more times during surgery, depending on the length, and then they count during closing. So, when that happens, someone didn’t do their job.

Ah that's the estimating department the day before one of our 7 digit bids goes out and we find out last second the state amended the project.

And speaking of 7 digit quotes, I just got a request for one with PLENTY of advanced notice, Thank God. Got till July.

Yeah I had hoped there would be safeguards in place for that. If theres a time and a place to screw up, surgery is not it.
