well. if you park you jeep far away from everyone else cuz you care about her. then the cart stall is away from the jeep. so its too much walking just to return the cart. besides that give the cart boy a opportunity to earn its pay.

Years ago, I came out of a store, got into my truck, and, since there wasn't a vehicle in the space in front of me, I pulled forward. I had barely started moving when there was this great clatter and a shopping cart launched from in front of me. It crossed the lane between the parking spaces and ricocheted off two other vehicles before coming to a halt. I may have said some bad words about the lazy cunt who put their cart against my bumper.
