Not only the traffic, but how long is the wait at Costco?
Luckily our Costco has 3 pumps per line so it moves fairly quick even when the line is out on the road.

I'm in Long Beach, CA. Just filled up last night at $5.00/gallon for 91. But I've seen it as high as $5.35 for 91 by us. It's crazy out here!! When is someone going to stop this insanity!

$3.69 regular
$3.99 mid grade
$4.45 premium
Miami gas prices as of yesterday.
I stopped putting premium in my 2.0T lol. The Costco a few miles away is 3.17 for regular but with traffic takes 45 minutes each way so not worth the headache to me.
Miami prices jumped over the weekend for me too. In hallandale i’m seeing a lot of $4.09 for 93. Shit sucks. $60-$70 fill ups aren’t great.

Gasoline first reached $4/gal. here during the course of the 2008 recession. It was at that price that the average speeds observed on the Interstate portion of my daily commute began to lower a bit. That was when folks seemingly began to feel the pinch, and adjusted their behavior at least a little.

13 years later, 87 octane currently hovers at $3.6x per gallon. I paid $4.25/gal. yesterday for Premium. This time around, though, average highways speeds haven't contracted in any discernable sense. Maybe the new pinch point will have to be $5/gal.

Highest I have seen for premium is by O'Hare Airport. $5.25/gal.

Lowest for premium is $3.69/gal at some suburban Sam's Club locations.

Prices jumped here in Northern MO recently and in some places they've jumped up again as-of yesterday.

$3.08 jumping to $3.19 in some places for regular
$3.55 jumping to $3.89 in some places for premium

Between how thirsty the 4Runner is and putting premium in the Jeep the 40 minute commute to and from work is getting a bit painful.

I just got some premium gas for my equipment. Price ranges from $4.45 to over $5.35 a gallon. I fully expect the price to go to close to $6.00 a gallon soon.

Not to point out the brick-shaped elephant in the room, but if gas prices are such a concern, maybe don't buy a horribly inefficient vehicle like a Wrangler? 100 miles at $2 a gallon when you get 20 MPG costs you $10. 100 miles at $4 a gallon when you get 40 MPG costs you $10.
We can't control prices except by limiting demand, but we've all chosen to NOT control consumption. Bring in more foreign oil, but reduce our dependence on foreign oil. Support American production, so long as it doesn't cost more to support American production.
Wanting to have our cake and eat it too makes us sound little more than entitled.
