How long after ordering should I get a vin/von? And who should I get it from, or how should I get it?

A day or two after you order. You call the dealer. They get the VOVN and VIN

8/21 - VON
8/25 - VIN and D , maybe a day or two earlier
9/24 - D1
9/29 - Est Build date 10/13
10/11 - Framing stage, should be complete within a couple days.
10/12 - Built: awaiting installation of accessories
10/13 - Build sheet!

And now I am getting irritated - asked twice for the VON from my dealer with 0 response back. They rattled it off when we did the deal, but I had a sheet pre "ok go ahead and order" so it is not on there. Smells suspicious....I didn't know I needed it to do all this fun tracking - I want to play in the tracking game LOL

Yeah they used to say a day or two. Not that I am in a rush the longer it takes the bigger my down payment but I found it odd that they changed.
