Anyone having trouble with the JL battery being totally drained when flat towing behind motorhome for 3 to 4 hours? Any solutions?

Very common issue for flat towing. The wiring is not complete between the two rigs. If you had the wiring done by an RV shop I would suggest you take it back and tell them to finish the wiring.

The solution that is most common is to run a wire from the tow vehicle to the Jeep. Battery to battery. Lights connect between the two use the 4 pin and then convert to a 6 pin and use the extra pin for the +12. So then you will have a 6 pin on both rigs. Dont forget the fuse or circuit breaker for the new wire. There are several other ways to do the wiring.

If you do your homework on how to wire the setup there are plenty of web DIY descriptions on doing it per above.

BTW in the Jeep when using a brake system that needs +12 you have to have a receptacle that has 12v always on and does not turn off then the ignition is off. Most of us just add an new sig lighter receptacle wired directly to the battery.

BTW if you have LED lights then you need the diode kit to isolate the rear lights from the rest of the Jeep electrical system. There are kits that provide the simple instructions. Mine kit came from Hopkins. It was recommended by a large RV dealer that offered to do the correct wiring for a modern Jeep.
