Fwiw, most manufacturer's 35" tires are actually closer 34.5" in diameter. There are some that are a true 35 inches, but it's been my experience that they are in the minority. Even my new Nitto Trail Grappler MT's are a good example. On Nitto's own website, the diameter of the 315/70 r17 size I went with is listed as 34.61" and their 35x12.50 r 17's are listed as 34.84.And Love6MT, so you don't order the wrong the one, there is also a 35"x12.5R17 size that some have gone with (usually on aftermarket wheels I think). It can be confusing because I think some people have referred to the 315/70/17 size as a 35" tire but they are actually about 34.4".
I'm going to do the 315/70/17 KO2 but haven't decided whether I'll squeeze them onto the stock rims or buy a different wheel.
Ymmv of course, but that's been typical of what I've found while searching for 35's.
