And Love6MT, so you don't order the wrong the one, there is also a 35"x12.5R17 size that some have gone with (usually on aftermarket wheels I think). It can be confusing because I think some people have referred to the 315/70/17 size as a 35" tire but they are actually about 34.4".

I'm going to do the 315/70/17 KO2 but haven't decided whether I'll squeeze them onto the stock rims or buy a different wheel.
Fwiw, most manufacturer's 35" tires are actually closer 34.5" in diameter. There are some that are a true 35 inches, but it's been my experience that they are in the minority. Even my new Nitto Trail Grappler MT's are a good example. On Nitto's own website, the diameter of the 315/70 r17 size I went with is listed as 34.61" and their 35x12.50 r 17's are listed as 34.84.

Ymmv of course, but that's been typical of what I've found while searching for 35's.

392 peeps with a lift…how’s your front driveshaft angle at the transfercase? Pics would be great along with what lift you’re running.

In the planning stages for my 392XR and am curious if any of you have driveline vibes and/or any front driveshaft boot tears/leaks since installing a lift?

FUEL RAMPAGE 2PC CAST CENTER Black with Gunmetal Face Wheels 20x12
TERRA GRAPPLER G2 35X12.50 R20

Wheels appear to be perfect match to the gunmetal in the Rubicon logo. Red anodized valve caps as a subtle ode to Rubicon.

Tires say 35" but measure 34" high when mounted. No noticeable change in acceleration . . . I was very tempted to go with 37" but this Jeep will only see Florida sand and I really wanted to have the performance.

A few members are going with the new Goodyear Wrangler Terrain MT as they provide you a 35 inch (315) tire while sporting an aggressive look and only 52 lbs per tire!
Although it says MT (stands for maximum traction?) it’s more of an AT tire.

Other options if trying budget weight, yet wanting to increase diameter would be: Duratracs at 62 lbs, or KO2s at 66.5 lbs. (both 315s)
I wonder if these would get better fuel economy than stock 285s being that they weight 52lbs and the stock BFG ko2s weight 56? Even though they are bigger 315s?https://m.tirerack.com/tires/Spec.j...Model=Wrangler+Territory+MT&partnum=17SR7WTMT

KO2 37s are more like 35.5.

Looks good but those 37s look tiny. 39s would look better.

I’m not planning to regear for my 35s. It still has amazing power, so I don’t feel the need to do it. Curious about those with 37s though...

I’m on Nitto Trail Grapplers 35x11.50. No spacers, no lift.

Love the setup! So are you not running km3’s anymore? I was gonna go that route but went away from them.

Correct! This is my current set up. Here are some photos of the 37 KM3 on the stock wheels.

Can you please comment on the 37 inch tires and 4.56 gearing combo. I am interested in your thoughts since this is the route many will go when the 392 XRs are delivered.

For highway and street driving, it is superb! Power delivery is there in all gears. 8th gear all day up mountain grades. Went through Tennessee and Transmission was very happy. No issues finding the right gear through the mountain passes. Left cruise control on at 75mph and the transmission held 8th all the way through. It really is the sweet spot. Now the KM3 measures 36” mounted and aired up at 34psi. The KR2 39”: actual true measurement 38”. It’s a TRUE 38”. Also an 1” wider than the KM3. I believe 4.56 is perfect for 35-38 actual true tire size. Also calibration is key. Make sure to calibrate the computer to the right gear and tire size.
