It will likely need bump stop extensions. The length depends on if the XR will come with 1" longer bump stops than the standard JL.I am wondering if I could upgrade to 37's on the 392XR without changes...

Is that something an idiot can do on their own?It will likely need bump stop extensions. The length depends on if the XR will come with 1" longer bump stops than the standard JL.
Yes, but if you have any doubts I would find someone who is comfortable working around suspensions. Is that something an idiot can do on their own?
Haha I think it could be fun as long as Iām not pulling springs and stuff lol. Thank youYes, but if you have any doubts I would find someone who is comfortable working around suspensions.
I would think from the videos I've seen on the regular 392's the 37's fit fine with 1.75 Spacers. So if the XR is a little taller than the regular 392 I'd bet you will be fine.I am wondering if I could upgrade to 37's on the 392XR without changes...
Gotta pull the springs to mess with bump stops. Also, āsmallā 37s like BFGās KO2 & KM3 should fit with no modifications needed. Believe the standard 392 and 392XR are the same height.Haha I think it could be fun as long as Iām not pulling springs and stuff lol. Thank you
When did you order your 392?.. August 6 here.. still waaaaaaiiiittttinngg... im so impatientYeah the heck with the 110 mph, with the 392 I'll take the 0-60 in 4.5 seconds with that hemi growl. I can't WAIT to take delivery.
July 19th I'm pushing 67 days now, and STILL nothing for movement GrrrrrWhen did you order your 392?.. August 6 here.. still waaaaaaiiiittttinngg... im so impatient
What I read was that the 392 non Recon tires are the reason the speed was limited to 99 mph. And the Recon, while the tires are larger 35's (315's) the tire is a different tire with different top speed rating, therefore the higher top speed.35" tires but a higher top speed? There has to be more to the story here?
Dude I'm on day 71 since I gave them $5000 deposit on my 392 XR and NOTHING yetI know many of you have been waiting FAR longer than I have, but holy cow its been 4 weeks since I ordered and there is zero update. I was feeling optimistic and sold my other rig earlier this month, but now I just have to hope the Jeep arrives before any snow does.
lol Iām on 90+ days. No movement , no status changes/updates.Dude I'm on day 71 since I gave them $5000 deposit on my 392 XR and NOTHING yet

The Mopar lift control arms are barely 1/4" longer than the factory arms. Are you sure that the arms aren't from the Mopar kit? It would be very hard to tell without taking them off and laying them side by side...The 392 lift is not as high as the Mopar Performance lift. Sway bar end links and lower control arms as the same length as the standard Rubicon.
