Litebrite had a video where they were doing small jumps at the Bilstein facility. They had some crazy set up for their Hemi-swapped JLUR on 40's, but they're also running D60/80 and are partnered (Or whatever the term is nowadays).

Check out some of the Jeepspeed and Ultra4/King of the Hammers set ups. But fair warning- if you want to do it and not bend your Jeep like a pretzel, it's going to cost $$$.

Looking forward to lots of pix of Jeep air time. Having a trailer and tow vehicle is a good idea.

Isn't that the purpose of the gladiator mojave? I doubt we will see a mojave wrangler due to the wheelbase.

Pretty sure jeep claims the mohave is build for exactly what I'm looking for, looked at the differences from mojave to rubicon seems to be resevoir shocks, hydraulic bump stops and reinforced frame around the shock mounts and open front diff. I definitely don't want the JT though.

Serious question, coming from side by sides and this is my first jeep 2021 2dr rubicon. I want to be able to do SMALL jumps and moderate speed over woops. Is this doable in a jeep? What mods are required?

thanks!
are coilovers better for that type of activities?
Not necessarily. You can get coils and shocks to be tuned properly to get the similar performance.

Sand yes, have good bump stops. Any other surface I would not jump your Jeep. I have gotten airborne (maybe a foot off the ground) a few times in the sand.

So if you poke around some of the jeepspeed or xj focused forums you'll find what you're after. It can be and is done, but it's a lot more common on xj's since they're cheap and no one cares about chopping them up, welding in cages, or destroying them if everything goes wrong.

With the right shocks, damping/compression, axle trussing, and sufficient uptravel/hydro bumps *of course* you can jump your jeep.

I wouldn't want to get too much air w/o trussing the front axle but just some good adjustable shocks and hydro bumps would allow you to get some air and not damage anything.

Head over to the DTX (dodge trucks extreme) forum and watch them jumping trucks with the same solid front axles as jeeps but those trucks weigh 8000+ lbs.
