I just got my 2021 Wrangler Sahara high altitude and I am wondering if anyone else has the same issue. When the car stops the auto stop kicks in and stops the car as expected however, during stop the car re-starts itself. Just curious if anyone else had the issue and knows how to resolve it.

this is due to many things. check the message display in the cluster and it will tell you why. Typically if the A/c is on it will come back on to keep the cabin cooling or heating depending on temp. and it can be because of voltage drop and needing to charge the battery

If you drive mostly short trips, less than 10 miles, your battery may not be getting fully charged. Take it on a trip of 20 miles or more every week or two. Also, the algorithms devolped for the start/stop sytem are complicated. Among the things factored in are engine temp, AC demand, steering angle, brake pedal pressure and battery voltage. If at times it restarts, or doesn’t stop running that’s normal.

It’s almost always the AC. It rarely happens during the winter.

This may be due to AC. I will check. I dont know where to find messages in the cluster.

Agree 100%. Occurs in my JL and my wife's Cherokee all the time....no worries.

Um, the up/down buttons on the left side of the steering wheel, unless something has changed since 2019. Right side is the cruise control buttons. I was just playing around in the Tazer menus and those buttons.

It is brake sensitive as well. If you slightly let up on the brake it will restart.

@tescatlipoca Yeah, it's not an "issue", it's working exactly as designed. There are multiple reasons for it restarting, but all of them are part of the normal process.

I have noticed this as well. I normally use the bypass switch but if I forget it seems that at the slightest movement of the brake pedal the JL will restart. It is very sensitive.
