Oh I know fo sho! I just like the idea of the factory doing it and their warranty
I assume known, but just to restate what’s been said so many times - the XR isn’t just 4.56s covered under warranty and the 35s, it’s also the hinge gate reinforcement, tire relo, potentially a 110mph max speed calibration, allegedly a different lift and, according to Scott Blum with Jeep, other as-of-yet unannounced bits specific to the 392XR that are not on the regular XR.

is it worth it? IMO, depends on your goals for the rig.

This comment alone, makes me want to stick to my guns about the XR. Should I order the XR now or wait and gamble on a 22?

Ask your dealer if you can order a 21 and cancel the order if a 22 392 is available. Then they’d have an inventory unit.

Supposedly the dealers can get in trouble for cancelled 392 orders, as they aren’t allowed to order inventory 392’s. That being said, you’d still be buying one and that would be explainable to whomever would ask them about it.

Can’t hurt to ask.

are you signing up for this one Grey?

I do not know squat aboubut 15k is a ton of cash so i am glad I am in the XR queue.

I can still look cool driving my kids to school before I embarrass them by waving and saying love you when they get out. then I can go to a mall to spend some of the 11k I still have left in my bank account.

I had it dealer installed to not void warranties even thought it was a mopar lift. The 392 I’ll probably just do 35’s later and change wheels later on.

...trust me, they aren't taking a "hit" for a single vehicle...
So I discussed it more with my salesman. I just want to mention he is a good friend of mine, so I do trust him. He claims that Stellanis's email was not only for the 392 wranglers, but for Q4 of 2021. Any RAM, Jeep Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, and I believe one other car are listed as not to be F&F/Supplier discounted. It did not say anything about employee discount. It sounds like I will still be walking out with the Jeep under MSRP, just not sure by how much. I guess time will tell 🤷‍♂️. I will give the final details when I know it all.

I know, I thought you said it was supposed to come in on the 27th? I figured the window sticker would of populated by now.
Oh, yeah the dealer system shows estimated shipping of 9/27. Which I highly doubt it will hit. The good news is I am in truck shipping distance and do not have to worry about train lol.

Seems to be a lot of earlier VINs the last few days, wondering if Jeep is finally trying to clear out the older backlog. Would make sense if what a previous post said is true in regards to kicking XR392 into high gear at end of the month and XR being required for any of the final orders being placed.
