Here are my 34’s (295/70r18) tires actually measure 33.75x11.50. Most people think they are 35’s and next to 35’s you really can’t tell. Skinner tires usually drive and steer better plus the weight reduction. Also less water and rocks splashing on the side. Like I tell the ladies “ looks bigger in person”.

No you wont notice a difference. In my personal experience, going from 35s to 37s is where you feel a noticeable difference. I shitbag my jeep and I havent had any issues with a sahara on 35s. But people make it sound as if you have to beef up your vehicle just to run a small 35 inch tire. If a jeep cant handle 35s then it cant even handle the stock tires.

That’s a great offset on those wheels!

I went with 34s myself: 285/75r17 Toyos, plus a 2" spacer lift. No regrets so far. As others have pointed out the size is a great compromise: not as wide but almost as tall as 35s, so you get most of the benefits with fewer of the downsides.

Rubicon diesel springs and a 3/4” spacer in the rear to keep things level. That’s it.
Oh nice. Steel bumper? I’m about to put rubicon springs on and go with a 3/4 spacer front and rear-I do plan on running a steel bumper so hoping it gives it a nice stance

Stock Willys plastic bumpers.
I may add some 1.75” wheel spacers soon.

305/70r17 (34's) Ridge Grapplers on a spacer lift, my Aussie Rubicon setup runs pretty much the same suspension as your Willys, we get all the other Rubicon stuff just not the flares and less lift, I added a levelling kit.

Any front shots, that’s my gripe with the 34s is the width. I am going with different wheels which have a 0 offset and 4.75 backspace. hoping it’s slightly wider than stock.

If it is a 2 door youd be more than ok with 34s.

Ill tell you one thing. I went with 33s (rubi falken takeoffs 32.7). and I regret it. I wished I wouldve done 34s. So if you are itching for 35s, go for it.

Willys have big brakes so youre good there. Issue is 3.45 gears, but if you're have an auto tranny and it doesn't bother you. youd be fine. It all depends on driving style. Some people drive a little too aggressive on the road and they notice the decrease in performance. Oh and I wouldnt worry so much about your front axle, just be easy on rock hopping.

I drive like a granny. when I went with the heavy falkens from the stock tires I noticed the difference but I like it better 😂. The stock tires were too zippy, and I expect that on a car not a wrangler. For some reason I like it better being a bit less zippy.
