I had to drill out base plates to relocate the hold down brackets for the rotopax due to the mounting bracket locations for the roof rack. It's total joy to see the rotopax clear the rear door!

My 2021 Rubicon is slated to be delivered any day now. It arrived at the local Shiping Facility in Baton Rouge Wednesday. My Dealership delivery day is between the 11th-20th. In anticipation of taking those doors off and enjoying the Weather I decided to build a door rack today. Came out prety good. I will be doing the roof lift tomorrow with a custom frame and hoist.

Nice. How was install?

There is a carpet nut there, you remove it, slit the carpet for the rubber strap. route the rubber strap thru the slit in the carpet, put it over the stud. Reinstall the carpet nut and put the carpet back in its place.

Took my daughter to Kia. She wanted to get out of here 2018 Jeep Cherokee. Never would I think she would want a Kia. She liked the K5 Stinger. Hate to say it but that is one nice loaded fast auto.

The sales manager who worked from my Jeep dealership and now there and I know him so he took care of her.

So looked and looked and Sh-t you Not I traded my 2021 Rubicon for a Stinger. No longer a Jeeper.

Drove it to Frankenmuth for the car show. Many,many nice vehicles. Had a hard time driving home.

We're modifying the fairing of the roof rack where Rugged Ridge designed it to house lighting. The lighting I have is already Close encounters of the third kind. Stand in front of the jeep and your face could melt. Blanking out the fairing will be more aerodynamic and quite unlike the rest of the jeep. If anything, the esthetic will look better.
